We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our IT team as an Entry-Level IT Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to start their careers in the IT field.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As an Entry-Level IT Specialist, your primary duties will include:   

  • Providing first-line technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues.   
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.   
  • Assisting in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and ensuring system security.   
  • Performing routine maintenance on hardware, including updates and backups.   
  • Documenting and tracking technical issues and solutions in the ticketing system.   
  • Collaborating with team members on IT projects and initiatives.   
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setups and hardware provisioning.   
  • Occasionally commuting to the office or client site if needed.   
  • Moving or lifting IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds when required.   

 

REQUIREMENTS 

We are looking for candidates with the following:   

  • Language: Fluent in English 
  • Communication: Ability to articulate one’s self clearly and effectively 
  • Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).   
  • Technical Skills: 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, and iPhones.   
  • Understanding of Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and security best practices.   
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.   
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to move and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.   
  • Availability: While the role is primarily remote, candidates must be able to commute to the office or client site when needed.   
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning.   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

While not required, the following will give candidates an edge:   

  • Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role (internship or part-time work acceptable).   
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
